A career related web-site.

I actually don’t have a favourite web-site related to the career, but I think the website www.gobierno.cl is pretty useful to know what the government is up to. I don’t visit it very often, I visit it about one time for week or so. It also has many links to other interesting web-sites related with the government such as the Ministries, the Congress, etc…

I found the site long time ago because the address is a little obvious and I also watched some advices on TV.

I like the site because you can find a lot of information about the government, such as projects, laws, the names of the authorities, etc. I think is very useful to know who are these people, what are the projects and what are going to do with you this laws or projects. It also can help us to do some jobs, I remember that I used the site to look for information to some school jobs.

My favourite piece of technology.

My favourite piece of technology is my iPod. An iPod is a mp3, photos and video player of the Apple brand, it isn’t too big nor too small. You can save a lot of songs, videos, photos and files because it also works as a hard disk. You can see the photos on its screen. My iPod has 60gb of space, I think the new ones have about 120gb.

I got it about three years ago as a birthday present. I mostly use it to listen to music; I don’t use it too much to watch videos or photos. Sometimes I use it to save some files as well. I use it every night when I’m trying to sleep, when I’m studying and when I travel.

I like it because it has enough space to save many songs and there’s no need to replace songs or change cds like a pen drive or a cd player would. Without it I think I would have a pen drive or something like that to listen to music, but it would definitively not be the same.

Hello, everybody!

My name is Sebastián (It’s ok if you just call me Seba). I was born in Santiago but when I was two, me and my family moved to La Serena, a very beautiful city, because my parents oversaw a very good opportunity to live in there.

What I expect of this activity is to improve my English writing abilities and to increase my vocabulary as well. I believe that you never end learning new words or grammatical rules. I also want to learn some idioms.
